Begin your day trip from Florence with an early wake-up for an exciting day at the Cinque Terre, one of the most distinctive villages of Italy, plus a 90-minute stop at the famous leaning tower of Pisa.
The meeting point is at the Santa Maria Novella train station in front of the pharmacy at 7:30 am opposite platform 16. Here, you will meet up with one of our tour guides who will take good care of you for the day.
Our first stop is Pisa, home of the must-visit Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Baptistry, Campo Santo, and Duomo di Pisa (Pisa Cathedral). Here, you will be free to walk around the square and enjoy taking as many funny pictures as you can think of with the leaning tower.
After Pisa and a 2 hour, 30-minute train ride, we will reach La Spezia, where we will take the local train to reach the Cinque Terre, (or The Five Lands). The area is made up of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza, Corniglia, and Monterosso, each of which is famous for its natural beauty, scenic trails, spectacular coastline, and sunny beaches.
For your tour from Florence, we advise that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes to be comfortable while exploring on foot. Our first stop will be in Riomaggiore. In this village, after an orientation walk, we will have the time to stop for a light lunch (which is optional), where you can sample local products.
We will continue to the next village, Manarola, which is filled with boats and beautiful views, which make for amazing photos. Our last village is Vernazza, where you will be free to relax on the beach, sunbathe, or take a swim before returning to Florence.
Our departure from Cinque Terre is at 5:40 pm*. We will arrive back in Pisa at 7:00 pm* or in Florence at 8:00 pm* approx.

Pisa: In front of McDonald on piazza Manin at 10:30am. If you wish to visit Pisa, do so independently before you meet with your group leader.

Reccomendations for off summer seasons:
Certainly winter is not the best time to visit the Cinque Terre, which are summer villages and mainly come alive from June until the end of September, however winter is the best time to appreciate the nature, the landscape and the quietness of this magic lands away from the summer crowds. A stop to Pisa before heading to Cinque Terre is a must.
FOOD & DRINKS From November until March the majority of the shops and local restaurants will close for their annual leave. We recommend to bring a packed lunch
FORECAST In case of rain we recommend you to bring a rain coat due to the wind on the villages and wear warm clothes
LANDSCAPE The paths on the national park due to the often land slides are closed by the local authorities every time is considered to be dangerous for the people.
