Itinerary

Day 1Milan to Lake Como - Stop in Como

Meet our tour leader in the morning in Milan and travel with your new friends to Como. After a 1h30 minutes ride, arrive to Como, situated on the banks of the lake, encircled by enchanting hills and famours for being the birthplace of many historically notable figures including the scientist Alessandro Volta. Here you you will have free time to check out the many interesting sites whilst meandering through the streets of Como, visit the historical monuments, beautiful villas and breath-taking sights. In the afternoon reach our hostel located right on the lake Como.

Day 2Bellagio and Varenna Day Tour

After breakfast take a ferry across the lake Como towards Bellagio, a small village at the tip of a long hilly promontory between the two southern branches of Lake Como. This elegant but tiny town is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the lovely views, classy boutiques, two gardens to visit, picturesque lanes, a choice of restaurants and bars. After Bellagio catch a ferry to Varenna, an attractive village on the eastern shore of Lake Como with the picturesque lanes and old fishermen’s houses for a perfect gelato or cold drink with amazing views.

Spend a free afternoon relaxing at the beach of the hostel and for the more adventurous hire a kayak or hire a bike to explore the area.

Day 3Verona

It is time to say goodbye to Lake Como and head to one of the most romantic Italian city of Verona, home of the famous Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet and well known for its spectacular Roman Amphitheatre. Once in Verona, you will have a full day of free time to visit the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet, do some shopping and sightseeing.

Day 4 Lake Garda Day Tour

Today is beach day! Bring your swimsuit because Lake Garda is the perfect stop to go for a swim and relax in one of the many beaches along the lake. Visit Sirmione, the pearl of the lake with its castle and take a ferry across the lake to some local villages.

Day 5Time to Say Goodbye

Four days went really fast and now it is time to say goodbye. Check out your hostel in the morning to your next destination. The tour ends officially in Verona and from here you can either continue to Venice or go back to Milan by fast speed. Select if you are returning to Milan or Venice and we will organise the train tickets for you in advance.

4 nights in our favourite budget accommodations. 2 nights in a 6/8 bed shared dorm hostels on the Lake Como, 2 nights in Verona.

Additional Info

We finish the tour in Verona at 10am. People can choose to spend the full day in Verona, continue their trip to a different destination, such as Venice which is only 30mins train ride from Verona, or return back to Milan. Our team can help you organise the train tickets to any Italian destination if necessary.
