DAY 1: PALERMO - MONDELLO

Board your own sail boat from Palermo Cala on Saturdays at 4.00 pm and start getting comfy in your assigned cabin after a short briefing on the safety equipment of the boat.

Depart from Palermo and after a 2h of navigation reach the bay of Mondello famous for its sandy white beach which lies between two cliffs for an afternoon swim then back on board for an Italian welcome aperitif.

DAY 2: MONDELLO - ISLE OF WOMEN - CASTELLAMMARE

Depart from Mondello in the morning after breakfast towards Capo Gallo and stop at the Isle of Women for a swim. After lunch head towards Castellammare del Golfo after 4h of navigation. In Castellammare follow our crew member for a visit to the beautiful town and its tourist port and the famous fortification. Optionally enjoy a local dinner in town or later on board.

DAY 3: SCOPELLO - EGADI ISLANDS - ISLE OF LEVANZO

Depart in the morning towards the Faraglioni rocks of Scopello, a perfect spot to swim and snorkel to see the splendid seabed. Next stop will be in the San Vito Lo Capo’ bay right in front of the famous beach of white fine sand.  In the afternoon right after lunch we leave for the Egadi Islands, with the first stop in Levanzo for anchorage in front of the fishing village and descent to land with the rubber boat. In Levanzo, guests can choose whether to book in one of the two restaurants on the island or dine on board.

DAY 4: EGADI ISLANDS:ISLE OF MARETTIMO

We will sail from the port of Levanzo to Cala Mennola, a bay on the eastern shore of the island, where we’ll drop the anchor so you will have some time to swim. We will then continue the navigation for 2 hours until the Isle of Marettimo which is a gorgeous marine reserve. Our sailboat will then stop to Punta Troia for a visit to the castle. In the evening we’ll get a chance to either moor near the town or in the port (depending on the draft of the boat) to enjoy an aperitif at sunset on the north side of the town overlooking Punta Troia, as well as a typical lobster soup at the local restaurant.

DAY 5: EGADI ISLANDS: ISLE OF FAVIGNANA

We will depart for Favignana in the morning and after two hours of navigation so you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the small Cala Rotonda, a breathtaking bay protected by a rocky landscape on both sides. You’ll have the chance to swim the crystal clear water or to relax on deck soaking up the sun. We will then set sail towards Cala Rossa and you’ll have the choice to mooring out at sea or to land in Favignana, a lovely and picturesque village on the coast of the Island.

DAY 6: ISLE OF FAVIGNANA - SAN VITO LO CAPO

After our usual breakfast we will sail all around the island of Favignana, to fully enjoy the scenery and then we’ll stop for a swim and a delicious lunch in Cala Azzurra. You will have plenty of time to relax while we sail towards San Vito Lo Capo to visit the village in the evening. San Vito lo Capo is notorious for a middle eastern influence on its culinary tradition, as once the Arabs colonized the area, so we highly suggest you try their famous seafood couscous or their mussel soup.

DAY 7: SAN VITO LO CAPO - TERRASINI - PALERMO

It’s almost time to say goodbye. We will depart in the morning and sail towards Palermo, with various stops along the way: firstly Terrasini, for a swim near the beach and then Sferracavallo, a small fishing village next to the Capo Gallo reserve. After our last lunch together we leave to return to the marina in Palermo and that will be the end of our amazing adventure together.

Responsibilities for the Skipper on board:

The skipper on board is responsible for the conduction of your vessel in order to ensure the maximum comfort and security during navigation. Your skipper will know what is the best route and best location for mooring or anchoring. Skipper on board are not responsible for cabins cleaning, kitchen and toilette cleaning, however they have to ensure the standard of hygiene on board. They are also fully qualified in CPR and First Aid.

What you need onboard:
We suggest you to bring only comfortable and informal clothes (depending on the type of cruise). Remember comfortable shoes for your walks when you are at destination and one pair of soft shoes with “white sole” which you will use only on board (this is because usual shoes and leave marks on the deckhouse). Remember a pair of long trousers a light sweater and a light jacket (K-way), hat and sunglasses.
Space onboard the vessel is very limited - for your own comfort and safety, luggage should be kept to an absolute minimum.

Cabin Type:

Our skipper will allocate cabin rooms on arrival. If you are travelling alone you will be paired up with a passenger of the same gender if possible which will mean sharing a double cabin with a double mattress. You will share both bathrooms with all the other passengers.

While living in such closed spaces might not be everyone's cup of tea, the excitement of the trip will certainly make up for the discomfort.

The fund of € 200 pp to pay locally allows the crew to pay: fuel, taxes for marinas, insurance, tender, extra stops. Depending on local needs the amount may vary but in any case the unused difference will be returned.
- Remember to stop in a local store or supermarket before boarding to buy food and drinks for the week to store in the boat. Dinners are not included so you will be responsible for preparing your own meals onboard unless you decide to have dinner on land when stops are expected.

- The scheduled program may change according to weather conditions
